This grill is great. From the bottom up. The seal on the bottom of the grill isn’t perfect and rainwater is leaking in at the bottom corners. The unit is near waterproof otherwise, nothing coming in from above, so you don’t have to worry about water getting in your ash tray. The ash tray is huge, perfect size, slides in and out easily. The coal box has pretty low clearance through the front opening, but I’m able to make it work. If I’m not going through the top, I slide the ash try and coal box out together to load it up without making a mess. I don’t think they designed it to do that, but all the SS parts are strong and no issues. The vertical range on the coal box is great. It will hit and knock out the grease drip guide if you aren’t careful, which seems like a design flaw but it’s not too hard to avoid. The grill rack, grease drip guide, and grease catch all work better than expected. It’s a simple design that I didn’t expect to work so well, very nice. The hood can slam if you don’t lift it up all the way so be careful. The SS outside arrived with heat marks where the rivets went in and permanent streaking on some of the flat SS surfaces. The rivets I think are what they are, but the streaking I think is a flaw/mistake. It takes cleaning each use if you want this thing to sparkle, but even if you don’t it shines in the sun like a beacon of grill heaven.
Highly recommend to any beginners thru professionals. Looks great set in, cooks like a dream, and Hasty Bake’s solid reputation as a company has been true. I won’t ever not have a hair bake grill.
Love it! Can cook just about anything with the adjustable charcoal grate and love the access panel to clean out the ashes.
We purchased our Fiesta in April 2019 and installed it in November 2019 after our outdoor grill area was completed. What a great built-in charcoal grill that I absolutely love. I was cooking on a Gas Grill which I sold and a BGE which I still have. However, the BGE does not get any attention anymore.....it's all Hasty Bake Fiesta for us. Also, I cannot say enough nice things about the people that work at Hasty Bake and the outstanding service you receive. What a wonderful company that makes an outstanding grill.....Thank you Hasty Bake.
