This purchase was my second Fiesta grill cover. The first one I purchased years ago was difficult to keep on the Fiesta with the strong Oklahoma winds. I actually had to put on a Velcro strip to keep the cover from blowing off. The new cover seems to have conquered that problem by having a hole where the Fiesta fire box crank is located. The placement of the hole in the cover conquers the problem of the cover blowing off in the wind.
It fits nicely and it’s not too big. It’s easy to take on and off during the summer. I’ll get a larger cover to cover the whole built-in over the winter.
The cover needs attachment points to avoid loss from wind. It has no grommets and relies only on the front handel through a slot in the cover. The grill grates are nice but two sets leave you with a three inch gap and shrinks your useable gri area. Skip hastey bake and go directly to grill grates for the purchase of the proper grates to fully cover the grilling surface.
The fist time use was a 15 lb brisket and it came out amazing!
