SCA Grill Extender
The laser-cut grill extender will up your steak game! Emblazoned with the legendary Steak Cookoff Association logo, this extender gives you a solid surface to bring your steak to temperature while elevating it above your GrillGrates. Designed specifically for use with GrillGrate brand grates, this heavy-duty extender raises your meat 2" above the GrillGrate valley (1" above the fins). Allowing for enough airflow underneath to cool the surface, you can gently finish your cook to perfection. Dimensions are 9"D x 7" W, guaranteeing a perfect fit on almost any grill surface out there. Forget buying new extenders every few months. Weighing in at 1.8lbs of 11 gauge steel, this will probably outlive most grills.

If this grill extender is made like the newer stainless grill grates for the Roughneck Smoker, they are not nearly as good as they might, be using cast iron in a much narrower footprint to put grill marks on the meat. I use the old style cast iron style grates every time I want good grill marks on my meat.
